Volleyball team will host LJ Country Day
The Scripps Ranch High School womens varsity volleyball team will play La Jolla Country Day at home on Sept. 3 at 5:30 p.m. after losing a back and forth match against Valley Christian High from Cerritos, Calif., on Aug. 29.
Scripps Ranch took the first two sets in that match but ultimately dropped the final three sets for the loss, 2-3. Each set was tightly contested. Scripps Ranch High was ranked 39th in the state and Valley Christian High was ranked 31st. Scripps Ranch High has a 5-3 record.
