Girls softball teams compete at State
The Scripps Ranch Girls Softball 8 and Under and 14 and Under All-Star teams are heading to Lancaster, California to compete in the state tournament which starts Friday. The teams will match their skills against other top teams from Southern California in the 2017 “B” State Championship tournament.
The Scripps Ranch Girls 14 and Under All-Star Softball Team is scheduled to play Fountain Valley on Friday, July 7 at noon in the USA Softball of Southern California tournament. If Scripps Ranch wins, it will go on to play the winner of the Torrance 1 and Orangecrest game in the second bracket at 4 p.m. Friday.
The Scripps Ranch Girls 8 and Under All-Star Softball Team is scheduled to play Desert Sands #2 at 10 a.m. in the first round of the tournament on Friday. If Scripps Ranch wins, it will advance to play Desert Sands #1 on Friday at 2 p.m.
