Stop and smell the roses
It’s a hectic day. You’re hot. Traffic is bad. Fortunately, you live in Scripps Ranch where you can come home and get away from the rat race.
While running errands or while driving home, take a little time to look out your window and enjoy some of the natural colors around the neighborhood. Even though it’s the middle of a warm summer and rain is scarce, Scripps Ranch has an abundance of bloom, whether it be among the shrubbery around shopping centers and business parks, or flowers lining the streets and yards of your neighborhood. There is an abundance of natural beauty to behold.
While there are not as many brightly-colored blooms as there were in late spring and early summer, there are still plenty of vivid flowers to be found. Summer’s constant heat makes the petals droop somewhat by day’s end, but they perk up again by morning after resting and replenishing in the evening’s dew.
The fact that most Scripps Ranch homeowners take pride in their yard’s upkeep makes a big difference.
