Last game of the season
The Scripps Ranch High School varsity football team will host the Mission Bay High School Buccaneers on Friday, Nov. 3, with kickoff scheduled for 6:30 p.m. This will be Senior Night, the team’s last game of the season. The Falcons have had a tough season with a 1-win, 8-loss record, but hope to end the year with a home game victory on Friday night.
DJ Smooth at Sanctuary Lounge
DJ Smooth will keep the party alive as he spins tunes and turns up the jams Saturday night, Nov. 4, from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at Sanctuary Lounge.
DJ Smooth, whose real name is Juan Rodriguez, has been in the entertainment industry for 20 years. He also helps plan, coordinate and emcee weddings, quinceaneras, corporate and private events. He’s a regular DJ at Sanctuary Lounge and he keeps things moving on Saturday nights in Scripps Ranch.

Breeder’s Cup pint glass

Pop Warner teams enter playoffs
Playoffs begin this week with the Scripps Ranch Pop Warner Junior Pee Wee and JV teams playing home games at Scripps Ranch High School on Saturday, Nov. 4. The Scripps Ranch Mitey Mites will play in the Chocolate Bowl on Saturday against the Carlsbad Lancers at 11:30 a.m. at Los Alamos Hills Sports Park, 36700 Ruth Ellen Way in Murrieta.
The Jr. Pee Wee Falcons take on the PQ Sundevils at Scripps Ranch High on Saturday at 9 a.m. The JV Falcons will play the Vista Longhorns at Scripps Ranch High staring at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Scripps Ranch Pop Warner Pee Wee team earned a bye week. Visit scrippsranchpopwarner.com.
