Entertainment at Sanctuary Lounge
Jazzmine Farol will perform live at Sanctuary Lounge from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26. DJ Gavin will follow until closing time.

DJ Roms and DJ Bull will provide the sounds on Saturday night, Jan. 27, from 9 p.m. until closing time.

Jazz Night featuring Patrick Yandall & Friends is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 28. Yandall will hold a CD release party for “A Journey Home.” Showtime begins at 7 p.m. Purchase tickets now at brownpapertickets.com.

Neon Night

The Scripps Ranch Swim & Racquet Club is holding a special Neon Night at Rockin’ Jump for kids in grades 6 to 8. The event will be held from 6 to 10:15 p.m. on Friday night, Jan. 26. This special “Teen Night Out” is with the club’s Mr. Kyle and Ms. Megan. Transportation, pizza dinner and Rockin’ Jump activities are all included. Food trucks at Newtopia
The Papas Locas food truck, serving irresistible (gourmet) Mexican food, is scheduled to visit Newtopia Cyder at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26.

The Pierogi Truck (Polish and European cuisine) is scheduled to visit Newtopia on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m.

Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market
The Scripps Ranch Farmers Market offers a wide variety of vendors from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Saturday at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot. Browse among the booths with a selection of food, services, produce and merchandise. Grab something to eat, sit down and enjoy live music in the food court. This is a very family-friendly event. It’s like a family festival every Saturday in Scripps Ranch. Visit srfm.org.

Happy Hours at Little Italy Bar & Grill
Little Italy Bar & Grill’s weekend happy hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays featuring half price off all alcoholic beverages and half price appetizers. Weekday happy hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. There is also a new menu.

Little Italy Bar & Grill is located at 10006 Scripps Ranch Blvd.

Active SR Singles meet for hike
The Active Scripps Ranch Singles group will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, for a Seven Bridge Urban Walk/Hike near San Diego’s Balboa Park area. This will be an easy and predominantly flat loop starting in the Balboa Park Rose Garden. The group will cross a blend of historic to current bridges, including a wooden trestle bridge, a suspension bridge, historic old houses and neighborhoods along the way, and then finish back at Balboa Park. Hikers will stop halfway to refuel with a light snack and/or drink.

Meet at Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden on the east side of Park Boulevard right across the street from the big water fountain in Balboa Park. Feel free to Google “Seven Bridge Urban hike” to learn all about the route. RSVP to activesrsingles@gmail.com.

Pet events at Unleashed
On Saturday, Jan. 27, Maltese Rescue will bring dogs that are looking to be adopted to Unleashed in Scripps Ranch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On Sunday, Jan. 28, Unleashed will offer Free Puppy Playtime to pet owners and their pups from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the Scripps Ranch store. This is a puppy socialization time for puppies to play with one another.
