SRSA holds sunny Opening Day
The sun came out and warmed the fields as the Scripps Ranch Softball Association (SRSA) held its Opening Day on Saturday, Feb. 24, in Cypress Canyon Park.
Players, association officials and coaches participated in Opening Day ceremonies as friends and family members of the players enjoyed a day full of activities. Players warmed up and practiced batting. Youngsters played on jumpies while parents watched and lounged, and the scent of barbecue wafted through the air, providing a festive, picnic-like atmosphere.
