
Savagewood Brewing Company will host a chocolate and beer flight pairing prepared by Myne Chocolates starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12.

It’s Myne Chocolates has created another awesome pairing flight for Savagewood Brewing Company, this time for Mother’s Day weekend. Their handcrafted chocolates pair perfectly with Savagewood’s craft beer selections.
It starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, and lasts as long as the chocolates do. No tickets necessary. Purchase tastings from the bar when you get to the brewery.
Plus: a treat for the kids/drivers who bring the mommies in; a chocolate pretzel treat paired with craft soda or cold brew coffee!
Cost: $16 for the pairing flight of four chocolates and four tasters; $2 for kids treat pairing.

Maven and Mason Exchange
The Maven & Mason Exchange, an urban-style artisan market, is coming to Innovations Academy on Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Shop and experience 35 of the best local artisans specializing in handmade, boutique items. Think Etsy right here in Scripps Ranch: jewelry, clothing, accessories, home decor, toys and more.
There will be a kid zone with activities for the little ones, and coffee and baked goods for everyone to enjoy while strolling through the market.
A $2 admission includes a raffle ticket to win one of the many handmade prizes donated by the event vendors. Military personnel and kids 14 and under will be admitted free of charge. Visit this event the Saturday before Mother’s Day for music, food, fun and a unique shopping experience at Innovations Academy, 10380 Spring Canyon Road.

Shop for Mother’s Day
Stop by the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market to shop for those last-minute Mother’s Day gifts. There are lots of unique, one-of-a-kind treasures available. Mini bouquets will be given out to the first 50 moms.
The Scripps Ranch Farmers Market offers a wide variety of vendors from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot. Browse among the booths with a selection of food, services, produce and merchandise. Grab something to eat, sit down and enjoy live music in the food court. This is a very family-friendly event. DJs at Sanctuary Lounge
DJ Roms and DJ Bull will provide the tunes for the crowd at Sanctuary Lounge on Saturday, May 12, from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m.
The Lounge will be closed on Mother’s Day, May 13.

Library concert
The “Pleasure of Your Company” music series, sponsored by the Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library, welcomes back Quartet Nouveau on Sunday, May 13, at 2:30 p.m. in the informal and intimate setting of the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center. After Mother’s Day brunch, how about treating mom to a delightful afternoon concert?
Violinists Batya MacAdam-Somer and Missy Lukin, violist Annabelle Terbetski and cellist Elizabeth Brown combine to form an exciting, dynamic ensemble. Their program will include Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 59 No. 1, the Third String Quartet by Elena Ruehr and Fantasia on “Shenandoah” by Rick Sowash.
Meet the artists at a complimentary reception following the concert. There is no charge for the concert, although donations are appreciated.
