Pop Warner team goes to championship
The Scripps Ranch Pop Warner 14U football team has advanced in post season competition and will play for the championship at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 at La Costa Canyon High School, 1 Maverick Way in Carlsbad.
The Scripps Ranch 14U football team defeated Vista 18-8 on Oct. 26 to earn a place in the championship game.
Two other Scripps Ranch Pop Warner football teams were in playoff action on Oct. 26. The Scripps Ranch 10U team lost to Carlsbad 6-31. The Scripps Ranch 12U team lost to Temecula 12-31.
