Team rolls into championship game

The Scripps Ranch High School roller hockey team is scheduled to play Cathedral Catholic High in the 2021-2022 CIF-San Diego championship game on Monday, Feb. 28, with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.

This should be an exciting game since Scripps Ranch played Cathedral twice during the regular season, losing one game and winning the other.

Scripps Ranch is seeking its third CIF-San Diego championship title in a row.

The Falcons earned their spot in the championship game by defeating Bonita Vista High 9-2 on Feb. 23 in a semifinal game.
