Softball team plays in Cougar Classic
The Scripps Ranch High School varsity softball team is scheduled to play Granite Hills High on Friday, March 6 at 5 p.m. in the Cougar Classic in Escondido, 3333 Bear Valley Parkway.
Scripps Ranch defeated Olympian High 15-2 in the tournament on March 3.
On Feb. 29, the Lady Falcons won in the ninth inning against Steele Canyon High 4-3. It was a much-needed win for Scripps Ranch after falling to Del Norte earlier in the week by 16 runs on Feb. 27. (Photos on this page are from the game against Steele Canyon.)
