New Marshall principal sends message
Dr. Joshua G. Way, the new principal selected to take over the reins at Marshall Middle School, announced that he will finally take his post officially on May 12. He was delayed from taking his new position by contractual obligations with San Marcos Unified School District where he served as a principal at Woodland Park Middle School. Furthermore, the COVID-19 crisis hit and delayed the process even longer.
He stated in a message to parents that his administrative team is working with the district office to plan end of the year activities, such as promotion and textbook/device collection, as well as developing plans for what next year’s learning experience will look like.

Mother’s Day take-out from Yanni’s
Yanni’s Bar & Grill is among the local restaurants offering a Mother’s Day special for take-out on Sunday.
Yanni’s will be offering curbside pick-up from 1 to 8 p.m. Place your orders in advance in order to secure your preferred pick-up time. They can only process six orders every 15 minutes.
