Library parking work underway

Work on expansion of the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library parking lot has been underway for a few weeks.

There is a construction fence around most of the upper lot and workers have been finishing up jackhammering and removing the original paving.

There are only two parking places available in the upper lot, and these are reserved for those with handicap placards or license plates. At peak times, the lower lot is at capacity, so library patrons are encouraged to use the overflow parking on Meanley Drive. A path from Meanley Drive leads up to the library.
