District 6 candidates set

San Diego’s Municipal Primary Election will be held on June 2. The top two vote getters in the Primary will advance to the General Municipal Election, which will be held on Nov. 3. Candidates Kent Lee (incumbent) and Mark Powell qualified to appear on the ballot for San Diego City Council District 6. The district includes these parts of Scripps Ranch: Hibert Street, Businesspark Avenue, most of Aviary Drive, the very southern end of Scripps Ranch Boulevard. The boundary loops south of Scripps Ranch, then north to include areas east of Cypress Canyon Park Drive and the eastern portion of Scripps Ranch, including Stonebridge/Rancho Encantada.
