SRHS basketball team falls to Mira Mesa
The Scripps Ranch High School varsity mens basketball team lost to Mira Mesa 59-80 on Dec. 13, but the Falcons will get a chance for revenge when they travel to Mira Mesa for a rematch on Jan. 28.
Scripps Ranch High had difficulty dealing with the up-tempo, pressure and quickness of Mira Mesa High, falling behind by 25 points at halftime.
The Falcons will enter pre-holiday tournament play when they travel to La Costa Canyon High for a game on Dec. 16 with a 7 p.m. tip-off.
