Basketball team wins, advances in playoffs
The Scripps Ranch High School womens varsity basketball team defeated 13th seeded Mission Vista High 71-47 on Feb. 15 in the first round of the 2022 CIF San Diego Section Division 1 Girls Basketball Championships. Scripps Ranch advances to a home quarterfinal matchup against La Costa Canyon High on Feb 18 with a 7 p.m. tip-off.
