Basketball teams go to State
Both the Scripps Ranch High School mens and womens varsity basketball teams will play in the CIF State Championship tournaments with first round games on Feb. 27. The sixth-seeded mens team will host 11th-seeded Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles at 7 p.m. The ninth-seeded womens team will play eighth-seeded Canyon High School in Anaheim at 7 p.m.
Photos on this page show the mens team in action against Mission Bay High School in the CIF-SDS Division 1 Championship game on Feb. 23. The Falcons were the Division 1 runner-up.
