Chip’n FORE Children fundraiser set for June 4
The Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary Scripps Ranch Unit invites residents for a night out of fun with “a round of nine holes” enjoying local cuisine, specialty drinks, auctions and music during Chip’n FORE Children, a special fundraising event set for June 4.
This is a perfect place to gather with the community, enjoy each other’s company and give back to the kids at the same time.
The Auxiliary’s last event, Cheers for Children – held in March 2020 – was a tremendous success, raising more than $20,000. Now, after two years away, the group is swinging into action to make a difference in the lives of children. This year’s proceeds will benefit The Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital, which has recently cared for two Scripps Ranch children. The golf-themed Chip’n FORE Children fundraising event will be held June 4, 6-10 p.m. at 15545 Via La Ventana.
Those not able to attend who would like to make a donation may do so online as well. Receipts will be mailed for all donations.
