Cross country season begins

Several members of the Scripps Ranch High School cross country team practiced at Lake Miramar earlier this month. This year’s team is the most talented in the school’s history, according to Falcons head coach Chuck Warren. The defending CIF-San Diego Section Division II champion mens and womens SRHS cross country teams hope to continue their dominance as the 2025 season opens with the Bronco Roundup at Kit Carson Park in Escondido on Aug. 23.
