Sandra Seng and her husband, Vutha Seng, are the team behind EZScoop & Go, a family-friendly dessert and game machine booth experience at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market.

Their business combines sweet treats with interactive fun for kids, offering bubble waffles, churros, honey toast, chocolate-covered strawberries and ice cream creations, and claw machines that keep children entertained while parents enjoy desserts.

The couple started EZScoop & Go together, inspired by family outings and a love for ice cream.

“We wanted to create something portable, community-focused and fun for families,” Sandra said.

The duo developed recipes, purchased equipment and launched their first booth after months of preparation.

In addition to desserts, their game offerings, inspired by family trips to Las Vegas, feature claw machines and plushies that kids can win while playing. The setup allows parents to enjoy their treats while children engage in safe, interactive play.

Operating primarily at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market on Thursdays, the couple plans to expand to other markets and local events. Sandra also works full-time as a senior loan officer at a credit union, while Vutha balances his role as an automotive technician. Together, they manage the production, setup and sales of their desserts and games. Sandra’s brother, Johnny Truong, also assists with events, rounding out the team.

“All of us know how to make the desserts and manage the booths,” Sandra said. “It’s a family effort, and we love being part of the local community.”

Their desserts, including bubble waffles with ice cream, dragon fruit lemonade and fruit toppings, are made fresh on-site. The bubble waffles remain the most popular item. Prices average around $13, making the treats both accessible and indulgent.

The couple appreciates the family-oriented atmosphere at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market, where regulars have welcomed them since day one. Sandra praised the market coordinator, Beverly Cassity, saying, “She’s like a grandma – always making sure everybody is happy and cared for.”

For EZScoop & Go, the focus is on being mobile and community-focused rather than opening a permanent storefront. The couple plans to continue expanding into more markets while maintaining the hands-on, family-friendly experience that has become their signature.
