Falcons look toward next home game
The Scripps Ranch High School (SRHS) varsity football team will play Patrick Henry High School on Sept. 2 with a scheduled 7 p.m. kick-off on the SRHS campus.
The Falcons are coming off a tough 21-28 loss to rival La Jolla High on Aug. 26 in the team’s home opener.
SRHS made a valiant attempt to come back from a 14-0 first quarter deficit, but fell just short as the game ended. The Falcons had a tough time, but showed flashes of skill and talent with a few speedy runs on offense and were not short on courage or determination on defense with displays of excellent tackles, especially from the secondary.
