Falcons will face SDHS in round 1
The Scripps Ranch High School mens varsity basketball team is seeded number 14 as it heads into the CIF San Diego Section Division 1 Basketball playoffs to face third-seeded San Diego High School on Feb. 18 with a 7 p.m. tip-off at San Diego High.
The 8-19 Falcons are coming off a 58-77 loss against St. Augustine High in the last game of the regular season on Feb. 14 during Seniors Night at Scripps Ranch High.
The Falcons recognized five seniors before the game and started the game with all of them in the line-up. As the game was well out of reach in the fourth quarter, Scripps returned to the senior lineup. The regular lineup (sitting on the bench at that point) was highly enthusiastic as they observed the seniors play.
