An abundance of Scripps Ranch athletes are competing and participating in autumn sports as the weather has cooled and the sun is providing perfect conditions for athletic competition. 

HAPPY CYCLISTS: Scripps Ranch residents Chris Herich (left) and Eugene Long celebrate after completing the 50-mile Rosarito to Ensenada Bike Ride in its 45th year on Sept. 28. The ride starts in downtown Rosarito and goes along the coast for approximately 25 miles before heading inland for a climb of roughly 10 miles, followed by a downhill blast and a final bit of flat riding into Ensenada.
