Hockey team falls in overtime

The Scripps Ranch High School co-ed roller hockey team lost in overtime to Cathedral Catholic High School by a score of 3-4 in the San Diego Championship game on Feb. 28 at Kit Carson Park in Escondido.

This heartbreaking loss ended the Falcons’ hopes of attaining the team’s third championship in a row following its highly-successful 2021-2022 season. The powerful Scripps Ranch team is led by head coach Greg Freidman.
