Registration is open for Harvest and Holly Market: The date is set for our third annual craft fair! The Kiwanis Club of Scripps Ranch will hold our 2025 Harvest and Holly Market on Oct. 25 at the Ellen Browning Scripps parking lot. If you are an artisan or vendor looking for a venue to showcase your creations in time for fall/holiday shopping, this is your opportunity right here in Scripps Ranch! For more information or to reserve a booth, contact Sue Lloyd: suelloyd7@gmail.com.

Little Library showcased at July 4 parade: The Kiwanis Club of Scripps Ranch had a great time marching in the July 4 Scripps Ranch Parade with one of our Kiwanis Little Libraries in tow. Literacy is one of our club’s top priorities, and we have built and placed 12 Kiwanis Little Libraries around town, each packed with free books for children and adults alike. At the end of the parade route, we opened up the library and handed out books to kids anxious for a great read this summer.

Kiwanis steps up for STEP: On July 8, our club lent a helping hand to STEP (Support The Enlisted Project) by sorting, organizing and packing clothing into bins in their warehouse for military families in need. STEP provides an array of services ranging from counseling to free food and supplies for junior enlisted members, veterans and families. It was an honor to continue our support for such a worthy organization.

Kiwanis begins summer/fall Schedule at Farmer’s Market: In June, the Kiwanis Club of Scripps Ranch began our summer/fall run at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market. With a fresh supply of books on hand for children and adults, we will be handing them out at our Kiwanis booth at the Farmer’s Market twice a month through October. Stop by and pick up some great entertainment for you and your family!

The Kiwanis Club of Scripps Ranch is a local volunteer organization that supports the needs of kids and our community. We meet at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Whispering Ridge clubhouse at 12465 Oakfort Court. For information, stop by a meeting, visit scrippsranchkiwanis.org, follow us on Instagram at kiwanisscripps or contact Craig Bratlien at craigbratlien@gmail.com.
