Local tennis team goes undefeated
The Scripps Ranch Junior Tennis 10u club team for the Scripps Ranch Swim & Racquet Club won the championship and took home the gold at the USTA Junior Team Tennis Southern California Section Championships tournament at Marina High School in Huntington Beach on May 3-4. The team finished in first place for all of Southern California for ages 10 and under.
This team went undefeated during the regular season in San Diego, which allowed the players to qualify for sectionals in Orange County. They were undefeated at the section championships as well.
