New businesses open

Several new businesses have recently opened or are planning to open in Scripps Ranch:

Poke House, offering a unique take on traditional Hawaiian poké, opened at 9872 Hibert St., Unit D-1
in the “Trader Joe’s shopping center.”

Mendocino Farms restaurant opened in the Scripps Ranch Marketplace (“new” Vons shopping center, in the former location of El Pollo Loco at 10715 Scripps Poway Parkway.

Hinar Dessert Bar & Cafe plans to open where Nutmeg Bakery was previously located in the Scripps Ranch Marketplace across from Public House 131 at 10755 Scripps Poway Parkway.

Sai Japanese Bistro plans to open in the former location of 40N Pho & Grille in the Scripps Ranch Village Shopping Center, 9978 Scripps Ranch Blvd.

Decca Bites restaurant plans to open in the former location of Big Cheech’s Chicken, Waffles and Sliders, 9810 Carroll Canyon Road, Suite 102.

Poppy Bank, a full-service banking facility, opened at 10000 Scripps Ranch Blvd., Unit 102 in the “old” Vons shopping center.

YogaSix opened in the Scripps Ranch Marketplace shopping center at 10755 Scripps Poway Parkway, Unit 755-A.

Surfside Fish House restaurant, serving an array of affordable seafood, opened several months ago in the Scripps Ranch Marketplace at 10585 Scripps Poway Parkway, Suite D.

El Viejón Seafood restaurant plans to open at 9837 Mira Mesa Blvd.
