SRHS volleyball team ends season
The Scripps Ranch High School mens varsity volleyball team went all the way to the fourth round of the CIF San Diego Section 2022 Boys Volleyball Championships Open Division before suffering a tournament-ending defeat at the hands of Cathedral Catholic High on May 10.
To get to the fourth round of the double elimination tournament, the Falcons defeated Torrey Pines High 3-1 on May 3, lost to Cathedral Catholic 1-3 on May 5 and came back to beat Torrey Pines 3-2 on May 7.
The Falcons qualified for the 2022 CIF SoCal Boys Volleyball Championships – Division II state tournament, losing to Upland High on May 17 in the first round.
