SRHS was very close to another CIF title
The Scripps Ranch High School (SRHS) womens varsity lacrosse team lost an 8-9 heartbreaker to La Jolla High School in the Finals of the CIF San Diego Section 2022 Girls Lacrosse Championships Open Division on May 21.
SRHS made a huge comeback after being down 2-7 at halftime to ultimately lose 8-9 after coming within a score with 1:39 remaining in the contest.
The tough loss ended the team’s quest to win three consecutive CIF San Diego Section titles. Regardless, Scripps Ranch ended another fantastic season, often defeating opponents by large margins.
