SRHS women wrestlers showcase their skills
Female varsity wrestlers on the Scripps Ranch High School wrestling team competed in the Girls University High Wrestling Tournament on Dec. 7.
The squad wrestled well, and the following wrestlers took home hardware:
Hope Long, second place overall
Chloe Ng, fourth place, consolation
A unique moment in the tournament included freshman Malia Kollmeyer having to wrestle fellow Scripps Ranch High wrestler senior Chloe Ng, with Ng winning the match to advance to the next round in the consolation bracket.
