SRHS womens basketball team having great season
The Scripps Ranch High School womens basketball team will visit University City High School for a game on Feb. 7 with a scheduled 6 p.m. tip-off.
Scripps Ranch, with an impressive 14-6 record at the time, was deep in action at deadline as it hosted Cathedral Catholic High on Feb. 5.
Before that, Scripps Ranch defeated Montgomery High 48-42 on Feb. 1, and beat Mira Mesa High 49-41 on Jan. 31. Scripps Ranch High junior Clare Valentine scored her 1,000th point during the game against Mira Mesa High.
