SRLL Opening Day set
Young baseball players, coaches, parents and volunteers are preparing for the start of the new Little League season.
The Scripps Ranch Little League Opening Day Celebration is a fun-filled day with loads of good times, food, entertainment and activities for all players, families and friends. The 2026 edition at Jerabek Park promises all of that, plus more. Team pictures will be happening, and the first game of the season will be taking place.

2026 SRLL Opening Day
Saturday Feb. 28, 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. at Jerabek Park
- Ceremony Begins: 10:05 a.m.
- Parade of Teams Begins: 10:15 a.m.
- US Marine Corps Band will perform
- Bouncies, Games, Fun, DJ Music
- Team Photos
- Players Home Run Derby
- Snack Bar with Food Specials
- Raffle Drawings all day
- Vendors, Sponsors & Giveaways
- First Game of the Season, 1 p.m.
Vendors and sponsors include Junction Bar & Grill, Scripps Poway Orthodontics, Mission Federal Credit Union, Upper Deck, Five Tool Baseball and Stretchlab. Parisi Speed School will be there to assess players’ speed and agility. The Kona Ice Truck will give back 20 percent of the day’s proceeds to the league.
Activities include bounce houses, cornhole, axe throwing and great tunes. Stop by the various vendors and walk away with freebies and great deals. The whole community is invited to attend.
