Summer events delight Welcome Club members

In June, Welcome Club members learned more about how to protect their pets. The advice came from a guest speaker at their monthly meeting. Members also toured the weather station in Rancho Bernardo and learned how the weather is predicted.
They were also being reminded of how enjoyable brunch in a garden is, and how to relish outdoor evening potlucks. Taking in a play on the local stage added to the enjoyment. The good times made June socially spectacular for the Welcome Club members.
These special events, along with the regular monthly meeting, crafts, games and book gatherings, filled June’s calendar with opportunities to be with friends.
Meanwhile, plans are being finalized for July to offer repeat performances of June’s festivities.
A Morning Coffee in a garden on the ninth, an outdoor Summer Supper at Filippi’s Restaurant on the 14th, and a Poolside Potluck on the 26th will highlight the month’s calendar.
And while the evenings are longer and the weather is warmer, Welcome Club will continue to enjoy the season with outdoor activities through September. The calendar is full, and the doors are open for new members to join the fun. For more information check the website: scrippsranchwelcomeclub.com.
