Symphony in the Park seeks more funding
The Scripps Ranch Symphony in the Park organization sent this important message:
Summer’s almost here, Scripps Ranch, and we’re excited! Another set of magnificent concerts at Hoyt Park where we can enjoy popular music with our families and friends is just around the corner! Mark your calendar for 6 p.m. in the evening of the second Sunday of each month from June through September.
We are already contracting our bands and special add-ons, like face-painting for the kids!
BUT WE NEED HELP! Donations have fallen considerably over the past years (thank you COVID) and we need to ask you for help.
Dear Families & Friends,
Your donation plays a vital role in sustaining Symphony in the Park Concert series. Every contribution, regardless of amount, provides immediate support for live music, local educational initiatives and the continuation of valued community traditions. At present, donations are allocated directly to concert operations and provide instruments, music books and uniforms to student musicians, ensuring ongoing development for future generations.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the continued generosity of Scripps Ranch families and local businesses. All contributions are tax-deductible due to our 501(c)(3) status. With an all-volunteer staff, every dollar received is directed toward concert operations, event promotion and the enhancement of school music programs.
To contribute, please select “DONATE NOW” for secure payment via PayPal or VENMO, or mail your check to us at 10755 Scripps Poway Parkway #189, San Diego, CA 92131.
Your support is promptly utilized to further music education, foster community spirit, and maintain this longstanding tradition.
We appreciate your commitment to sustaining Symphony in the Park.
