Harvest and Holly Market arrives in October
On Oct. 25, the Kiwanis Harvest and Holly Market and Bake Sale will showcase popular features from previous Kiwanis markets and will also include some new surprises for the entire family! It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary parking lot at 11778 Cypress Canyon Road.
Over 40 booths with new and returning local vendors
Unique handmade creations and gifts for adults and kids
Raffle prizes
Face painter for kids
Food and drinks available for shoppers and vendors
Kiwanis proceeds go to local charities

Kiwanis pitches In to help S.T.E.P.
In July, the Kiwanis Club of Scripps Ranch helped organize and pack donations at the Scripps Ranch warehouse of Support The Enlisted Project (S.T.E.P.), and in September, we were back for round two! S.T.E.P. provides a range of services and supplies for junior enlisted members, veterans and families. Since the Murphy Canyon plane crash that impacted many people living in military housing, donations have continued to come into the S.T.E.P. warehouse for distribution to affected families. It was a great pleasure to help out with such a worthy cause.
Kiwanis Joins Miramar Ranch Carnival
On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Kiwanis Club of Scripps Ranch will once again be participating in Miramar Ranch Elementary’s Halloween Carnival! We will be manning one of the ticket booths for games and activities, which has become an annual event for us. We look forward to continuing to support one of our local schools at this popular community event!
The Kiwanis Club of Scripps Ranch is a local volunteer organization supporting children and our community. We meet at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Whispering Ridge clubhouse in Scripps Ranch at 12465 Oakfort Court.
