The Hub a winner at BIA Icon Awards
The Hub at Scripps Ranch, Sudberry Properties’ new community with 260 apartment homes and nearly 11,000 square feet of shops and restaurants, was a top winner in the San Diego Building Industry Association’s (BIA) Icon Awards at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront on Sept. 23. The Hub was honored as the “Community of the Year – Attached” and was a finalist in categories for architectural design, interior merchandising and leasing environment.
The Hub at Scripps Ranch was built in phases with the first phase opening in early 2022. The project is situated at the “front door” of Scripps Ranch on Carroll Canyon Road, just east of Interstate 15.
The Hub features one- to three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 614 to 1,391 square feet, with rents starting at $2,844 per month.
Interior amenities include private patios or balconies, 9-foot ceilings, hardwood-style flooring and carpeting, kitchens with GE Energy Star® stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and full-size washers and dryers.
The smoke-free community has an amenity package including a pool and lounge area with a Jacuzzi, barbecues and a fire feature; a 2,053-square-foot fitness center; a club lounge with demonstration kitchen; a game room and a media screening room.
Retail establishments at The Hub include Starbucks, Carroll Canyon Dental Group and Big Cheech’s Chicken, Waffles and Sliders. Junction Bar and Grill is scheduled to open soon.
