Tree Lighting brought the holiday spirit
The 43rd annual Scripps Ranch Tree Lighting was a huge success at Hoyt Park on Dec. 7.
The event included a bake sale, hot chocolate, crafts, a holiday sing-along, a collection of items for the Toys for Tots toy drive, a special visit by Santa Claus who provided artificial snow, and some very cute but unusual “reindeer.”
This year’s event was presented by Junior Girl Scout Troop 3263 and the Scripps Ranch Civic Association.
