Tree Lighting coming soon
The annual Scripps Ranch holiday Tree Lighting is set for Sunday, Nov. 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Hoyt Park.
This festive event is open to the entire community.
The Vinyl Hour, a local female youth band, will perform live holiday songs during the event.
The Tree Lighting activities will also include a bake sale, and local Girl Scouts will be collecting ornaments to benefit LA Eaton Fire victims. The Tree Lighting event has also traditionally been a collection point for the Toy’s for Tots program.
In addition, attendees might possibly spot a very special guest: Santa Claus.
