‘Giving Season’

‘The Man Who Invented Christmas’
The Silver Screeniacs movie series presents “The Man Who Invented Christmas” on Dec. 21 in Poway. Silver Screeniacs is a free monthly movie series for older adults on the third Thursday of every month. Jazz Night
The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego presents a free, live jazz show with Future is Color Studio Sessions, featuring Skate Jazz. Dec. 21, 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the Sahm Seaview Room, Strauss Plaza, and The Art Park at The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Building in La Jolla, 700 Prospect St.


Holiday Bowl
The 44th annual Holiday Bowl will be a matchup between Louisville and the University of Southern California. Dec. 27 at 5 p.m. and broadcast live on FOX from Petco Park. The101.5 KGB Sky Show will light up the sky following the game.

Winter Festival

It’s the opening night of The Golden Egg on Broadway, and the wealthy producer Julia Budder is throwing a lavish party in her lavish Manhattan townhouse. Downstairs, the celebrities are pouring in, but the real action is upstairs in the bedroom, where a group of insiders have staked themselves out to await the reviews.
