Scripps Ranch Symphony in the Park summer concerts are organized by the all-volunteer Scripps Ranch Symphony in the Park organization. In addition to producing community concerts, the organization helps keep music alive through its donations to local schools. The donations began in 2011 when Scripps Ranch Symphony in the Park became a public, charitable 501(c)(3) organization. Since then, Scripps Ranch Symphony in the Park has given $24,600 to local school’s music programs thanks to donations from friends and families in the community as well as concert sponsorship from local businesses. The organization hopes to make check presentations to the schools at its September concert.
