Fun day at Savagewood Brewing Co.
It’s a great Saturday at Savagewood Brewing Company. Two new beers are on tap and there is a homebrewer collaboration release party. In addition, Aunty Lynne’s food truck is serving up awesome cuisine until 7 p.m. Plus, they have shaved ice and boba drinks!

Savagewood Brewing Company is introducing its latest homebrewer collaboration: Stick Twirler Hoppy Red Ale. This beer is malty, yet slightly hop forward. Citra, Cluster and Simcoe play together like a three-piece band.

DJ Dale Da Dred will keep the crowd dancing at Sanctuary Lounge on Saturday night, Feb. 24.

Events at Sanctuary Lounge
DJ Dale Da Dred will provide the jams Saturday night, Feb. 24, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

“Spaghetti Kisses” will be the art piece that participants will attempt to replicate during a Painting Party at Sanctuary Lounge on Sunday, Feb. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. Sign up at paintingandvino.com and use promo code SANCTUARY20 for $25 off.

Casino Night
The Dingeman Elementary School Casino Night fundraiser is scheduled for 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Rancho Bernardo Country Club. The event includes dinner, casino games, a deejay and prize drawings.

SR Little League Opening Day

Opening Day for Scripps Ranch Little League is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 25 at Jerabek Neighborhood Park. Events will be held throughout the day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including the ceremonial Parade of Teams and Opening Pitch, a Home Run Derby, team photos and raffle drawings for prizes.

Team photos will begin at 8:30 a.m. Players and coaches are to line up for the Parade of Teams at 9:30 a.m. The Parade of teams will begin at 10 a.m. The flag ceremony and National Anthem are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., followed by the ceremonial first pitch by San Diego County Supervisor Kristin Gaspar. Then Scripps Ranch Little League President Marcus Armstrong will deliver the official welcoming remarks.

The first raffle ticket will be drawn at 10:45 a.m. and the Home Run Derby is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.

There will be inflatables for the kids, the snack bar will be open, and Rita’s Italian Ice will be there to serve delicious frozen treats.

In addition, the San Diego Padres Pad Squad and the Friar will be in attendance for the festivities.

Adoptable dogs at Unleashed
Scratch My Belly dog rescue will bring adoptable canines to Unleashed Scripps Ranch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.

Scratch My Belly is a non-profit, all breed dog rescue, saving animals from high kill shelters in Southern California and the streets of Mexico.

Wake up and smell the Irish coffee!
Little Italy Bar & Grill encourages everyone to wake up with a Happy Hour Irish Coffee, available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Breakfast will be served until 2 p.m.
