Easter Bunny at Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market
The Easter Bunny will visit with children at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 31.

The Easter Bunny will hand out Easter eggs to each of the kids. There will also be a face painter, a Jumpy with an obstacle course, a caricature artist, a craft booth for kids and homemade slime. Live music will be playing in the corner of the food court as well.  

This will be the 17th year the Easter Bunny has made an appearance at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to take photos of their children with the Bunny.  

The Scripps Ranch Farmers Market offers a wide variety of vendors, including a delicious selection of tasty items in the food court. Overall, the Farmer’s Market is open from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot.

Scripps Ranch Theatre presents “Baskerville” this weekend. Originally published by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in 1902, “The Hound of the Baskervilles” is one of the most well-known stories featuring the famous Sherlock Holmes. Today, more than 100 years later, director Charles Peters is bringing Ken Ludwig’s 2015 adaptation of the iconic story, titled “Baskerville,” to life on the stage for Scripps Ranch Theatre.

Based on Doyle’s original work, “Baskerville” sees Sir Henry, heir to the Baskerville estate, helped by Holmes and Watson as they attempt to protect him from a family curse. However, this is not your typical mystery thriller.

“Baskerville” runs through April 22, with shows every Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and every Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Legler Benbough Theater on the Alliant International University campus, 9783 Avenue of Nations. Visit scrippsranchtheatre.org.

Savagewood Brewing Company presents “That’s Awesome!”: a session IPA heavily hopped with Hallertau Blanc and a little bit of Lora, Azacca and Citra. Active SR Singles hike Torrey Pines
The Active Scripps Ranch Singles group will hold a hike at Torrey Pines beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31.  Jean will lead a hike to this local jewel in La Jolla. There are a number of options here. The hike is rated Moderate but with some hills (especially the road up to the top). DJ Gigi will be on the tables from 9 p.m. to closing time at Sanctuary Lounge on Saturday, March 31.
