Free events at the library
The Scripps Ranch Library is hosting several special free programs for children, teens and families just in time for holiday break.
Comic Art Creation Workshop: Children ages 7 to 11 are invited to explore the art of comic storytelling in this workshop on Saturday, Dec. 21, from 3 to 4 p.m., led by comic art experts from Little Fish Comic Book Studio. Learn awesome secrets and tricks for making your own comics and how to improve your drawing skills, whether you like manga, super-heroes or Dog Man. Family Art Project 3D Paper Snowflake: The entire family is welcome to learn how to make your own 3D Paper snowflakes on Saturday, Dec. 28, from 11 a.m. to noon. Visual artist Stacie Greene will show you how to make your own individual snowflake to celebrate the winter season. This program is presented in conjunction with the Family Arts Collaborative San Diego.
