The Scripps-Mesa Garden Club continues its tradition of sharing and appreciating the results of their efforts in their gardens. May’s meeting celebrated the club’s leader Karen Lopez’s successes with a tour of her garden. Her array of healthy and colorful succulents is an example to anyone wanting both floral beauty and water conservation strategies in their backyard. Like most local gardeners, she is doing her best to keep fire safety in mind while appreciating the comfort of her outdoors. June featured a tour of Debbie Honeycutt’s garden.
