Miro’s offers fresh bakery items
One of the more unique offerings is a combination chocolate and cranberry tea cake.
Miro’s was formed by business partners Michael, who is in technical sales, and Rocio, an experienced chef with about 11 years in restaurants, hotels, bakeries and fine dining establishments.
The two formed their business last year when they began catering. Now, they are selling their products at the Farmer’s Market and experimenting, seeing what products are most popular. The pair are researching what the local market requires, and considering utilizing Rocio’s skills to expand into preparing foods such as waffles, shrimp wraps and chicken wraps.

Their items at the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market are baked the evening before and early in the morning before the market opens.
“Come out and give it a try,” Mike said. “They’re fresh products.”
So far, customer favorites include the brownies, the muffins, the crescents and the breads, he said. The sourdough is also popular, and it’s already sliced.
The Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market is open for shoppers from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every single Saturday at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot. Visit srfm.org.
