Boys soccer team heads to Finals
The Scripps Ranch boys varsity soccer team defeated Rancho Bernardo High 2-1 in the semifinals of the CIF San Diego 2018 Division I Boys Soccer Championships on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
It was an aggressive game with both teams battling up and down the field. Rancho Bernardo scored the first goal in the first half, but Scripps Ranch rallied to score its own goal. The Falcons came out victorious in the end, scoring the only goal in the second half of the game.
Scripps Ranch will advance to face Point Loma High School in the CIF Division I Finals on Saturday, March 3.
