Heat wave continues
(July 30) “It’s going to be a hot one out there today for inland areas!” That’s the message the National Weather Service in San Diego posted on social media.
Blistering temperatures are in store for the remainder of the week, with Friday being the hottest day. Some records temps could be challenged or broken.
A Heat Advisory has been issued for all valleys and mountains below 5,000 feet from today to Saturday evening.
In addition, an Excessive Heat Warning is valid through 9 p.m. Saturday.
Those who need to be outdoors are advised to stay extra hydrated and take frequent breaks in the shade. Limit your time outdoors.
