Kersey hosts event with Chief Nisleit

On Thursday, June 7, City Councilman Mark Kersey will host a meet and greet with the new San Diego Police Chief David Nisleit for San Diego residents interested in public safety and community engagement.

“I appreciate Chief Nisleit’s commitment to engage every community in San Diego,” Kersey said. “We’ll hear first-hand from the chief about public safety in San Diego’s northeastern region and what the department is doing to ensure we remain one of the safest big cities in America.”

“As a proud resident of District Five, I look forward to meeting with the community members at this event,” Chief Nisleit said. “This is a great opportunity for me to learn about and discuss the issues affecting all the neighborhoods in the district.”

This event is free to attend and will be held in District Five at the Carmel Mountain Ranch/Sabre Springs Recreation Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Limited seating is available. RSVPs are encouraged at http://bit.ly/district5_meetthechief.
