Lele Rose will perform at Sanctuary Lounge on Friday, Sept. 15 from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
SCRIPPS RANCH WEEKEND
Lele Rose at Sanctuary Lounge
Scripps Ranch residents can relax and unwind to the smoky sounds of Lele Rose at Sanctuary Lounge on Friday night, Sept. 15 from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
A multi-lingual original music and dance artist, Lele Rose began her career at the young age of four when she sat down at the piano and started playing tunes by ear. She was trained in classical piano, ballet, tap, jazz and vocals. At a young age, greatly influenced by Michael Jackson and Madonna, Lele combined the classical with the new and moved into piano rock and hip-hop dance. She refined her hip-hop dance skills at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
Lele wrote her first original song “Bliss” during summer 2009 while still a student at Virginia Tech. “Bliss” features Lele’s deep sultry voice, complex chord progressions, an upbeat tempo and fearless character. It is about escaping through Lele’s music and arriving to the blissful kingdom of no fear, no worries, where dreams come true. The song became the theme for Lele’s debut album, “Bliss Kingdom.”
Following Lele Rose on Friday will be DJ Gigi, in the house from 9:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
DJ Smooth will get the crowd on the dance floor at Sanctuary Lounge on Saturday night, Sept. 16 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Sanctuary Lounge is located at 12090 Scripps Summit Drive, off Scripps Poway Parkway. Visit sanctuaryloungesd.com.

Farmer’s Market is a family festival
The Scripps Ranch Farmers Market is a weekly family festival with a wide selection of vendors each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot.
The Scripps Ranch Farmers Market has a nice selection of food, services, produce and merchandise. It’s a casual experience where you can mingle, browse, eat and listen to live music.

The child can turn in the ticket at the information booth, where they are allowed to search through a treasure chest to select a free toy. Visit srfm.org.
