The Scripps Ranch Unleashed is holding a Pet Costume Contest starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14. Dress up your pet in their favorite costume and enter them in the contest. It should be a great opportunity to see cute pets and take photos.

Also on Saturday, Unleashed will host adoptable canines from It’s the Pits Dog Rescue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15, Unleashed is offering Free Puppy Playtime to pet owners and their pups starting at 1 p.m. This is a puppy socialization time for puppies to play with one another. Pet owners must bring their pup’s vaccination records. Build a bond with your puppy while learning about puppy play and social development from a Petco Positive Dog Trainer.
