Santa visits the Farmer’s Market on Saturday
The biggest event of the weekend will be when Santa and Mrs. Claus visit the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market on Saturday, Dec. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is the biggest holiday event in Scripps Ranch this weekend. Feel free to take pictures of your kids with Santa.

Also this Saturday, the Scripps Ranch Farmer’s Market will hold a raffle for a child’s bicycle. There will be a free Christmas Penguin Treasure hunt with toys, a Jumpee and slide, a free face painter for kids, a free balloon artist, a caricature artist, candy canes for everyone and holiday music.

The Scripps Ranch Farmers Market offers a wide variety of vendors and will be open from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for shopping at 10380 Spring Canyon Road, in the Innovations Academy parking lot. Browse among the booths with a selection of food, services, produce and merchandise. Jazzmine Farol will play live at Sanctuary Lounge on Friday, Dec. 23.

Holiday weekend at Sanctuary Lounge
Jazzmine Farol will perform live at Sanctuary Lounge starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 22. Jazzmine is in love with music and stated that her life revolves around performing, singing, dancing, acting, songwriting, guitar, piano, musical theater, family, friends and love. She is also part of a band called Jazzy and the Farol Cats. DJ Gavin follows until closing time. In addition, the Jim Beam Girls will be on-site with samples from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Dec. 23, doors will open at 1 p.m. for college bowl games and the NFL. Later that night, Sanctuary will hold an Ugly Sweater Party featuring KJ Graii, DJ Smooth, prizes and drink specials all night. Wear your ugly holiday sweater and win prizes. Guests can enjoy complimentary tasting of Cutwater Spirits from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The Fireball Girls will take over from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Yes, Sanctuary will be open on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. Doors will open at 10 a.m. for NFL games and happy hour will be in session all day.

Events at Unleashed
On Saturday, Dec. 23, two organizations will show pets that are looking to be adopted at Unleashed in Scripps Ranch.

Maltese Rescue California is scheduled bring adoptable dogs to Unleashed on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Foundation for the Care of Indigent Animals will bring pets looking for homes to Unleashed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
